Feeling like AI's going to replace you?

Things are moving fast.

In the last 2 weeks, OpenAI published its account of how its own training agents broke into Hugging Face, 10,000 OpenAI agents produced a proof on Navier-Stokes, a Millennium Prize problem, and Dario Amodei published a letter calling for the industry to slow down.

It's not just this month either. The last 2 years have been absolutely crazy

New AI papers on arXiv per month, 2016 to August 2026. Under 500 a month until 2020, 6,560 in May 2026.

I hope things slows down, but in case it doesn't, then we are committed to keep building Iris to help humans stay on top of things. There's a real risk that the accelerations in AI capabilities we're seeing leads to major shifts in technical research, policy, governance and operational enablement. As these topics become increasingly less-understood by humans, it makes our dependence on AI harder to break away from. I think that's a dangerous place to be.

Iris is fundamentally an AI product company, but our mission remains to amplify human effort, to help them to stay relevant, be efficient and achieve more. Are you worried about AI encroaching on your profession? Get in touch and talk to us.
