Get paid for telling people about Iris
If you use Iris and you know people who'd get something out of it, I'd like to pay you for sending them my way.
Anyone who subscribes through your link gets 50% off their first two months, and you get £5 every month for as long as they stay subscribed. You also get Iris free while you're in the programme, because it would be a bit odd to pay for the thing you're recommending.
It's application only, mainly because I want the people recommending Iris to actually use it. I read every application myself.

The numbers
Ten people is £50 a month. Fifty is £250. The line assumes everyone stays subscribed, which in practice they won't all do, and it's before tax.

How it works
- 1.Fill in the form below. The two things I want to know are where you'd mention Iris and how you use it.
- 2.I read it and email you back either way.
- 3.If it's a yes, you get your own link. Share it wherever makes sense: your lab, a Slack group, a newsletter, a group chat. There are no targets and nothing you have to post.

UK advertising rules (the CAP Code) say that if you're paid to recommend something, people have to be able to tell. So whenever you share your link, just say so. Something like this is fine:
“Ad / affiliate: I've been using Iris Briefings and it's really useful for keeping up with research. You can try it here: [link]. I receive £5 a month if you subscribe through my link.”
Other than that, describe Iris the way you normally would. If there's something it's not good at, it's fine to say that too.
Questions
Who can apply?
Anyone who uses Iris. You don't need a big following. I'd expect most people to be researchers and engineers mentioning it to colleagues, and that's exactly who I want.
How much do I earn?
£5 a month for each person who subscribes through your link, for as long as they stay subscribed. There's no cap.
Do I have to post regularly or hit targets?
No. Mention it when it's relevant and don't when it isn't. You can leave whenever you want.
Is this an MLM?
No. It's free to join, there's nothing to buy, and you only earn from people you refer yourself. Signing up other affiliates earns you nothing.
Why would you say no?
Usually because the person hasn't used Iris yet. It's hard to recommend something you haven't read.
